Son of William A. Manon and Hannah Chadwick Manon. Married to Anna Margaret Dodd until her death in 1912, living in Amity, PA. Later married to Mary Fowler (b. 1896) of Ligonier, PA.

During the Spanish-American War, C.E. Manon served as a private in Company H of the 10th Regiment stationed in in the Philippines. Enrolled June 20, 1898; Mustered in June 25, 1898; Joined Regiment at Manila. P. I., Dec. 2, 1898; Mustered out with company Aug. 22, 1899. Shortly after this he worked as a teacher.

C.E. Manon was a 1910 graduate of the University of Pittsburg [sic], receiving his D.D.S. at a ceremony at Carnegie Music Hall on June 15, 1910. Manon practiced at Kittanning, PA in 1914 and later at Ligonier, PA.

Manon also worked making tires at McGraw Rubber Works in East Palestine, Ohio and "paddying" on the railroad. During World War One he and Mary Fowler ran a hotel in Negley, Ohio which catered largely to workers in a nearby clay factory. In 1918, he begin working as the head of a machine shop in Sharon, PA.

C.E. Manon claimed to have pitched for the Pittsburgh Pirates around 1894.

In our office we file claims electronically as well. We give it a couple of weeks and then call the insurance and speak with a customer care rep. They can tell you if it was recieved and the status of the claim. I just use the same number to check status of the claim that I used to verify eligibility/benefits for that patient.

I saw a dentist in 2004. I had dental insurance and provided this information to the dental office. I never heard anything after that but changed dentists due to location.
I get a copy of my credit report last month and see there is a collection for this dentists office. I contact them direct and was told my insurance denied the claim. My coverage was active at the time of service conducted.
I called the insurance carrier and was told the dental office NEVER even submitted the claim to them. So, the dental office is going to submit the claim to the insurance now but says they still can charge me the fee that it cost them to turn it over to the collection agency.
i dont feel this is right because the $ 38 fee would never had to happen if the dental office had submitted the claim like they were supposed to. I was referred to this dental office by the insurance company’s website so I know they accepted the insurance.
Is this a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act somehow?

If they failed to file the claim then they should take care of the fee. Request they remove the charge. If they dont, call the better business office or consumer affairs and see if they can help. I once had a almost 2 yr old computer repaired (motherboard and power supply both fried) at best buys cost because in Maine there is a 4 year implied warranty. Different situation you are in but I still think you have recourse if the dental company wont help.
